This represents a significant increase in the amount of fieldwork reported over what is a comparatively short reporting period (averaging 2.54 reports per day compared to the mean of 1.83 observed over the history of usage in Scotland). There are now 3637 records in OASIS. The proportion of records at different stages in the work flow remains constant with minor fluctuations for the number of records at each stage of the process. (see appendix for breakdown of organisation by year) There are 583 live records with a further 160 waiting for the contractor to send a report (figure 2). Although there has been a significant reduction from 30.2% to 20.2% over the last year the number of projects awaiting completion through uploading a report remains high. This is in part through a concentrated effort at RCAHMS to reduce the number of records awaiting validation by the City of Edinburgh council. Training and new users Including curators, there are 87 registered users for OASIS in Scotland. No training has taken place during this reporting period.
