Group 2 – Students will complete notes on tables and proportional relationships
Tuesday – Thursday
Group 1 – Students will complete basic math practice on fractions (mixed numbers) and interpreting charts
Group 2 – Students will create their own proportions word problem (students who scored higher than 80% on proportions assessment from 11/13/15
Group 3 – Students will work with teacher using dry erase or smart board on equations

Group 1 – Students will take notes and complete practice problems on Scientific Notation
Group 2 – Students who scored less that 80% on square roots/rational numbers will work on practice problems using Study Island Assessment (Laptops)
Tuesday – Thursday – Students will work on Exponents unit
Group 1 – Students will work on Scientific Notation practice problems
Group 2 – Remediation Groups for Square Roots and Equations based on unit test scores
11/8 (Students who scored less than 80% will work with teacher at the Board

Group 3 – Students will complete Scholastic Math Magazine problems on fractions, distributive property, and interpreting graphs

Groups will be based on information from assessments on 11/8 and 11/13. Students will be grouped by ability; students struggling with the concept assessed will be grouped together so that some small group teaching can happen inside the classroom.
