DAVIS DRIVE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT AMBASSADOR MEETING MARCH 2ND, 2015 Icebreaker Activity & Awesome Ambassadors Expectations & New Students o Academic –Have Cs or better in all classes on your report card; Behavior – No major behavior referrals; few punches in agenda; positive and respectful attitude; Attendance – Regular school attendance is required o Ask new students to sit with you & friends at lunch – it takes the pressure off of you & allows them to get to know other people as well; introduce yourself to new students, even if you were not assigned as their “buddy” Ambassador T-shirts! o Should come in sometime in mid-March. Please listen to the morning announcements for when and how to pick them up from Student Services. Teens for Jeans #teensforjeans o DDMS donated over 200 pairs of jeans! GREAT JOB! 8th Grade Ambassador Opportunities o Sign up to help out with promoting colleges and increasing awareness! o Sign up to present to current 7th graders about elective options for 8th grade. Presentation is tentatively scheduled for March 11th during 7th grade core classes. 7th Grade Ambassador Opportunities o Sign up to present to current 6th graders about elective options for 7th grade.
