CloudiA™ will play again with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity
CloudiA™, the brand of ATM IT Systems, will be the technological partner of the 21st Finale of the
Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. CloudiA™ will provide, configure and ensure the continuity
of high-performance infrastructure and systems for the needs of www.wosp.org.pl and the
application that facilitates auctions for The Most Generous Donors, in which the prizes will be gold
hearts and the gold phone cards.
Under the CloudiA™ brand ATM Systemy Informatyczne offers a services pack in an Infrastructure as
a Service model and managed services in a cloud model. This year's Finale is a challenge even greater
than the previous one as the scope of service has been greatly expanded. CloudiA™ will be responsible
for providing, configuring and ensuring the continuity of high performance systems and infrastructure not
only for the needs of www.wsop.org.pl, as was the case last year, but also for the application that
facilitates the auction for The Most Generous Donors. During the 21st Finale, CloudiA™ will also take care
of configuring and delivering the back up servers, computer equipment, and the high efficiency network
equipment (firewalls, switches) for the studio of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC) on
television. CloudiA™ will also be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of WAN (ensuring
safe and redundant communication between its environment and GOCC TV studio) and the configuration
and maintenance of LAN network in GOCC studio in TVP.

During the last year's Finale that took place on January 8th, www.wosp.org.pl had more than 1.5 mln
views. The number of requests handled reached the total of 50 million, i.e. around 600 requests per

second with 2,000 requests per second during the peek period. On the day of the finale, GOCC web page
was prepared to handle three times as much traffic. The total volume of data sent from the GOCC web
page reached almost 1TB.
“Thanks to the fact that the whole IT infrastructure needed for the Finale and its components such as
auctions is delivered in the cloud model, we do not have to deal with the technical aspect on our own. The
use of the cloud computing model gives us confidence that our websites will be readily available, traffic
balanced and any number of requests will be handled. It is a great convenience for us because it allows
us to concentrate on the most important activities of the day,” said Krzysztof Dobies, the Spokesman for
the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
This year's Finale will take place on January 13th. The purpose for which the funds are collected is to save
children’s lives and guarantee decent medical care for the elderly.
