1. Developing/Strengthening National partnerships




An actor-linkage matrix prepared to map and analyse Plant Health System stakeholder roles,
behaviours and nature of interactions to describe and characterise existing plant health system
stakeholders, resources and functions (2.1)
Establish National Coordination Unit with National Coordinator, National Data manager, and
National M&E Manager
Sign partnership and data sharing agreements with National Responsible Organisation – NRO
/ Local Implementing Organisation – LIO (1.4)
Hold National forum meetings/National steering committee meetings (November 2014) (1.5)
2. Trainings






Plan and conduct 5 module-1 training (s) with 100 trainers (1.8)
Plan and conduct 5 module-2 training (s) with 100 trainers (1.8)
Plan and conduct write shop with 20 trainees (4.4)
Plan and conduct Performance monitoring of plant clinics (Module 3) trainings with 15 trainees

3. Establish Network of Plant clinics




Identify 50 teams and plant clinics sites with national partners (1.9)

Develop national & regional directory of diagnostic services and identify diagnostic labs that

Develop/improve plant doctor’s skills to prepare sample for diagnostic laboratories (2.7)
Establish in-country mechanisms for receiving and processing of samples by diagnostic labs,
and national coordinator (2.7)

8. In Country Scaling-Up of Plantwise



Develop national scaling plans with national partners: through meetings and will include
programme management plans (selection of focal areas, people, facilities etc.), monitoring and
evaluation plans, training plans, data management, and programme support plans.
Backstopping Master Trainers through method and material support, performance review &
feedback, exchange visits and provision of training materials.
Refreshers for master trainers for Module 1 and 2
