What diagnostic clinics can GPs currently refer to directly, for cancer investigations? GPs can currently refer patients via direct access to MRI, non-obstetric ultrasounds and x-ray. 2. What diagnostic clinics will be available for GPs to refer patients to directly in 2015/16? Direct access to MRI, non-obstetric ultrasounds and x-ray will be available in 2015/16. 3. What funding have you allocated for developing diagnostic clinics for GP direct access in 2015/16? No funding is allocated to develop new diagnostic clinics in 2015/16. 4. What funding did you allocate for developing diagnostic clinics for GP direct access in 2014/15? No funding was allocated to develop new diagnostic clinics in 2014/15. 5. What funding did you allocate for developing diagnostic clinics for GP direct access in 2013/14? No funding was allocated to develop new diagnostic clinics in 2013/14. 6. What funding did you allocate for developing diagnostic clinics for GP direct access in 2012/13? The CCGs came into existence on 1 April 2013, accordingly we cannot provide a response to this part of your request.
