Have your child read for 30 minutes a day. Remember, reading is fundamental. In the Classroom: Anyone can get angry, but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy. THIRD GRADE TEAM Reading Over the next few weeks, we will be learning in class about the differences in point of view between a biography and an autobiography. We ask that you take your child/children to the school library or Sterling Municipal Library and check out some biographies and autobiographies. Math This month in math our students will be learning to use multiplication and division in different contexts. Please have your child practice their multiplication facts at home. Science This month in science our Apache students will learn how to observe, measure, record, and compare day to day weather changes in different locations. They will also use and learn about tools to measure air temperature, wind direction, and precipitation. Please talk to your child about the weather reports you see on television and the newspaper.
