Members of the Brookfield Lutheran Church congregation filled a Durham school bus with school supplies to benefit over 1,200 students at Lutheran Urban Mission Initiative (LUMIN) Schools. LUMIN Schools serve students in low-income families in Milwaukee and Racine, Wisconsin. “The Durham bus served as a visual reminder to the parents in the BLC congregation to donate school supplies to students in need. We are blessed by Durham’s partnership and grateful for the support of our urban school ministry,” said Richard Laabs, President of the Lutheran Urban Mission Initiative. The “Stuff the Bus” event generated over 10 large boxes of school supplies, back packs, and notebooks to donate to LUMIN students as they begin the new school year. Durham is proud to partner with the Brookfield Lutheran Church community to ensure that LUMIN students have a successful academic year. ### About our company Durham School Services, Stock Transportation and Petermann Bus make up National Express Corporation (NEC), headquartered in Warrenville, Ill.
