DURHAM SCHOOL SERVICES PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION TO MEMPHIS STUDENTS
ATTENDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FORUM
Warrenville, Ill – Durham School Services, a leader in student transportation, provided hundreds of
Memphis students with free transportation to the Mid-South Minority Business Council Continuum’s
Economic Development Forum Thursday. The company donated 10 buses to transport approximately
450 students to attend the annual event held at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. Durham also
sponsored a seminar at the forum entitled, “2GMBE: New Mindset of Young Entrepreneurs Capitalizing
on the Innovation Economy.”
MMBC Continuum’s Economic Development Forum convenes corporations, minority and women
business owners, national thought leaders, community leaders and youth to attend seminars and
networking sessions aimed at promoting economic growth and development of minority businesses.
“Durham School Services is proud to have provided transportation for Memphis-area students to attend
this year’s Economic Development Forum,” said Laura D. Warren, area general manager for
Durham. “This is a great opportunity for students to learn outside the classroom; we take pride in being
