ABOUT THE POSITION:

• SunGard is looking for an experienced Sr. Security Engineer for our growing Security
Services team.
• This position will be highly focused on Vulnerability Threat Management and Network
Security concentrations.
• The positions responsibly will be geared towards new product development and the
architecture and lifecycle of new security products.
• We are looking for a self-motivated, highly independent ambitious person that can help our
Security Architecture Team build the next generation of MSSP products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and implementation of large scale Security Infrastructures.
• New Product Development of Security Products.
• Creating Policy, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines around new security products.
• Working with Security Vendors (McAfee, Check Point, Source Fire, Blue Coat).
• Design and Implement Virtualization of Security applications and appliances (Cloud
Deployments).
• High level troubleshooting of security applications and appliances.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Design and Implementation of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and Network Security
Manager (NSM) in a MSP or Enterprise environment.
• Implementation and Management of McAfee Network Security Platform (IPS), Host
Intrusion Prevention (HIPS), File Integrity Monitor (FIM), and Vulnerability Assessment.
• Design and Implementation of McAfee SIEM (Nitro) products such as Enterprise Security
Manager (ESM), Enterprise Log Manager (ELM), Advanced Correlation Engine, and Event
Receivers in a MSP or Enterprise environment.
• Design and Implementation of Check Point Multi Domain Security Manager (MDS) in a
MSP or Enterprise environment managing dozens of Domains (CMAs).

• Implementation and Management of Check Point appliances (Gaia and IPSO).
• Design and Implementation of Check Point Software Blades such as IPS, Application
Control, URL Filtering, and Mobile Access.
• Design and Implementation of DDoS Mitigation Tools in a MSP or Enterprise environment.
• Working with Authentication, Authorization, Accounting Systems such as RSA
Authentication Manager and Cisco ACS utilizing protocols such as Radius and TACACS.
• Working with Web Content Filtering Systems such as Blue Coat Proxy SG and McAfee
Web Gateway.
• Working with Domain Controllers such as Microsoft Active Directory.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years in Security Engineering role is preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of Network and/or Information Security is preferred.

Expertise with UNIX & Windows operating systems is required.

Expertise with Networking required.
Education:

BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
equivalent work experience required.
Certification(s):


CISSP certification required or obtained within the first year of employment.
CCSP, CCNA Networking, CCIE Security desired.
