General Updates:

Hamilton County Planning and Development Department:

Great News! The Hamilton County Planning and

Development Department is providing funding for the demolition and reconstruction of the pedestrian bridge. The

Village is a member of this organization and plans to fully take advantage of a multitude of services they offer to communities in Hamilton County.

Resources In Our Community: Housing Repair Services

Hamilton County has a contract with People Working

Cooperatively (PWC) to provide emergency and critical repairs for low to moderate income homeowners in participating jurisdictions. Each household can have two repairs per year as long as funding is still available. Examples include replacing gutters, repairing roofs, replacing furnaces, and unclogging bathroom plumbing. Please contact PWC at

513.351.7921 or visit their website at: http://www.pwchomerepairs.org/services/our-services/home-

Residential Properties: The Village of Woodlawn and the

Woodlawn Community Investment Corporation is heating up with the possibilities of “New” stock of residential housing in our community. Several members of Council and WCIC took a field trip to see new housing developments throughout Hamilton County.

Community Development Block Grant helps on the development of the Foot Bridge: As we had delayed the demolition of the Pedestrian Bridge to seek other funding for the construction, we have great news! The Hamilton

County Planning and Development Department, which is responsible for the Block Grant Funds, will provide the total funding for the demolition and reconstruction of the pedestrian bridge.
