You can go ahead to apply to the JPC for the aerial encroachment servitude. JPC will =irculate a memo to
us for the comments and we will comment on it. Then you will submit a design for the structure for JRA
approval.
A 6.2m height clearance is ok to the JRA.

Hi Isaac
The abovementioned matter and our telephonic conversation dated 29 September 2011 refer.
As discussed, the University =f Johannesburg wishes to apply to build a sky walk along the eastern
boundary of part of Height Street and across Beit Street in Doornfontein to link the Perskor Building
between Height and Nind Street to the John Orr Building on the Doornfontein Campus.
I would like to meet with you to discuss the possibility of such a sky walk before we apply to JPC =o
acquire the servitude. If the bridge is unacceptable we need to discuss an alternative.
