Dear Parents
We hope the children in Year 5 enjoyed their visit to Kentwell Hall today. They certainly
looked the part as they boarded the coach!
On Monday Year 6 visited the Cambridge Mosque and Catholic Church to reinforce their
learning of the similarities and differences between these two faiths. The children asked
excellent questions and were a credit to the school.
This morning we were very pleased to welcome back a number of our former pupils who
came to share their experiences of Year 7 at Saffron Walden County High School. They
were able to offer Year 6 lots of useful advice and reassurance.
Cake sale
The children in Year 6 would like to thank everyone for their support with the chocolate cake
sale last week. More than £128 was raised for their leavers party fund.
Year 5 and 6 Summer Production
Please ensure that your ticket requests are handed into the office by Wednesday 24th June.
Year 6 Residential
The information and medical forms must be completed and returned to the office by Friday
26th June.
Sport
There have been a significant number of infant and junior sporting events taking place over
the past two weeks including the girls and boys Kwik Cricket tournaments, 3 Tees Cricket
and multi-skills events. All the children participated well, achieved some commendable
results and were wonderful ambassadors for our school.
