Roosevelt Newsletter Jan 2015

Dear Parents and Guardians,
January 23, 2015
It is nice to get back into the routines here at school and see all the smiling faces again. While the days
are getting longer, it is still dark in the mornings so please drive slowly in the parking lot. We are having
quite the mix of weather so make sure your child has dry clothes to change into should they get wet.
Madame Anderson has joined us and is our new French Immersion Grade 4/5 teacher. Bart Kuntz is our
School Trustee for the school year. We welcome Bart and know that he will be in the school to learn and

We are using the Daily Five in our classes as one aspect of our Literacy Program. This can also be done at
home each day to enhance student skills.
