Live in Faith, learn in love together
Dear Parents,
School Prayer Book –
September
We offer our prayers and thoughts
during this month to: Mr Bates
who continues with his treatment,
Mrs Campbell (Harry’s nan) who sadly passed
away last week and Miss Morgan and her family
who are facing a bereavement.
We hope that you remember these
special people in your prayers during
September.

you take full advantage of
this offer.
Pirate Ship
The Pirate Ship outside Year 1 is for use during
the school day as a learning resource during role
play activities. At the moment, it is in a sorry
state due to the high number of
children that are climbing on it
both before and after school.
We have arranged for it to
be repaired but would ask
that children refrain from
playing on it unless they are
supervised by a member of staff.
Acting Headteacher: Mrs A Tambourini-Gunning
Please encourage your children to access
Mathletics and Spellodrome – they have been
given user names and passwords today so that
they can use them at home. Both of these sites
will help your child with their maths and spelling –
both areas that we are focussing heavily on in
school this year!

Walking in the footsteps of Jesus, our school family welcomes everyone to live in faith and learn in love
together, reaching their full potential in a respectful and caring environment.
Reception and Year 1 Access
We kindly ask that all Reception class and Year 1
parents wait outside the small gates that lead
onto the outside play area when collecting and
dropping off children. Teachers will bring your
child to you at the end of the day. The reason
for this is that we are having a lot of work done
on the outside area and need to keep it clear.
Whole School Pantomime
On
Tuesday
8th
December, we will
be taking the whole
school to see ‘The
Wizard of Oz’ at the
Knowsley
Leisure
and Culture Park. A
letter will go out
early next week asking parents to identify if their
child would require a school packed lunch or if
they will be providing one themselves as we will
not be back in time for hot dinners. Please keep
an eye out for this letter and return it as soon as
possible so that the Kitchen Staff can order the
right amount of packed lunches in.
Impact Maths
Parents of year 3 and 4 children will notice that
their child has brought an additional maths activity
pack home with them this week. Although not
compulsory, we would encourage you to support
your child in completing these activities as they will
help to improve maths skills!
We really do
appreciate all that you are doing to help us with
maths in school at the moment!
Parent and Toddler Group
Parent and toddler group will now
commence after half term. We
are looking forward to welcoming
back all of our young friends as
well as meeting new ones!
Earrings
We would like to remind parents that earrings are
not permitted as part of our school uniform. This
is for health and safety reasons. If your child has
recently had their ears pierced and is still in the ‘6
week’ period where they cannot take them out,
please ensure they are covered with plasters
before they come to school.
Saying ‘farewell’ to Mrs Perry
On Friday 16th October, Mrs Perry leaves us. We
will be holding a special assembly for her at
