Prom
All students wishing to be dismissed early for Prom on
May 1 need to turn permission slips into Mrs. Lieblich.
She will not dismiss you without these. Doors for Prom
open at 6pm on Friday May 1. Also, photographer forms
are available in the High School office.
AfterProm
All students planning on attending after prom need to
have permission slips, signed, and turned into the
office or you cannot attend!!!!
Calling all artists and graphic designers!

Ultimate Frisbee
We will have practice Thursday, April 30 from 3pm-5pm
To all students aged 16 and over - if you are looking
for a summer job, Geauga County Job and Family Services
may have an opportunity for you. Please see the job
board for details. Those interested in working for
Newbury Schools during the summer will need to apply
through Job and Family Services.
To all students aged 18 and over - if you are looking
for seasonal jobs, Punderson may have an opportunity
for you. Please see the job board.
Senior Poll Winners
Pictures for the Yearbook will be taken on Friday May
1st at 8:30am. Go to class for attendance and then you
will be called down to meet in the gym lobby. After
your picture is taken, you must return to class.

Visiting Angels Assisted Living Facility is offering
tuition-free Nurse Aide training programs and is
actively recruiting employees. Please see the job
board or Mrs. Dooley if you are interested.

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Track and Field teams for their efforts vs Fairport last night. The
Boys defeated Fairport by a score of 98 to 18. The Black Knights won 13 of 15 events. Zack Temple led
Newbury by winning four events.Jonah Hamby also won four events.Jeremy Stefancin won two
events.Aidan Kristo won two events.AJ Slade ,Noah Wilson,Trent Ferry, and Mak Sanders combined to
win two events. The Girls lost to Fairport by a score of 52 to 64.Nicole Iden led the Lady Knights by
winning three events.Maggie Kinkopf won two events. Allyson Kekedy won two events.Christina
Weber,Annie Kinkopf, Jessica Perez, and Grace Wright each won one event.Individual times and PRs are
posted on Mrs. J's bulletin board. Both teams are in action at Wickliffe on Tuesday, May 5th. Start time is
4:00 P.M.
