Subject: Today’s Quote
Here are today's quotes: Come to the library to give the Title and Author of the book and you'll be entered into
our contest to win movie tickets, books and other prizes! (Week 1 winners: Ashlei Morelli, Troy Dillenbeck,
Miranda Grassel, Aaron Hall, Raeghen Corbin and Kayleigh Fredericks)
Middle School Quote:
Mr. Crepsley handed the paper to Tony and told him they're a traveling freak show who put on secret
performances in towns and cities across the world.
High School Quote:
George knelt beside the pool and drank from his hand with quick scoops. "Tastes all right," he admitted. "Don't
really seem to be running, though. You never oughta drink water when it ain't running Lennie," he said
hopelessly.
HINT: Sometimes you can get help by using the Library OPAC to search for a title using keywords from the
quote like character names, place names etc. Then read the detail record to make a definite match to the quote.
If you can't find it in OPAC, try a database like Grolier or a search engine. Also, talk to your friends to see if
you can figure it out together!
