WHAT IS A HOSTESS APPRECIATION EVENT?
A Hostess Appreciation Event is a Pure Romance party hosted by you in the
location of your choice (most Consultants opt to hold these events in a hall,
community club house, or a meeting room at a hotel). It allows you to stay in
touch with previous Hostesses and remind them of the fun they can have with
Pure Romance. These events are especially effective when launching new
products, a contest, or in celebration of a Holiday or special event.
You can sell products like you normally would, but the main purpose of the event
is to gather bookings and recruit leads so personal contact is essential. To give
you time to ‘mix and mingle’ you will want to hold an abbreviated version of a
party. Just enough to remind your guests how much fun a Pure Romance party
can be and incentivize them to book a party for their friends!
WHO SHOULD YOU INVITE?
Invite former Hostesses and encourage each individual to bring a friend. This will
give you the opportunity to remind previous Hostesses you are still around and
you can meet some new people as well. If you are a new Consultant and do not
have past Hostesses to invite, you can still use this approach by inviting family,
friends, co-workers, neighbors, etc. It is a great way to introduce Pure Romance
to your circle of acquaintances.
TIPS FOR HOSTING A SUCCESSFUL EVENT:

PERSONALLY GREET ON-TIME GUESTS: When guests arrive, give
each one a drawing ticket and ask them to include their name, address,
email, and phone number on the back so you can collect contact
information from new guests. This will allow you to gather their contact
information so you can send each person a ‘thank you’ card and
communicate with the new individuals you meet.
Throughout the event you can award additional drawing tickets for game
winners, making a purchase over a certain amount (i.e. $30 or more),
booking a party, being a prior Hostess, bringing a friend and so on.
(Drawing tickets can be purchased inexpensively at most office or party
supply stores).






MYSTERY HOSTESS OR HOSTESS GIFT BASKET GIVEAWAY: You
can also draw a “Mystery Hostess” and award the lucky winner with the
Hostess Credits based on the sales at the event. This helps increase
sales and gives attendees another reason to attend. Or, you can create
your own Hostess Appreciation Gift Basket to award to a drawing winner
at the end of the event.
PLAY GAMES: It’s a ladies-only event so unlike Co-ed Open Houses you
can play games and practice demos. If you have new games or new
demonstrating techniques, this is a great time to try them!
OFFER EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNT COUPONS OR GIFT CERTIFICATES:
You can offer attendees a special for attending this event that they can
use at future parties (or their own).
HOSTESS APPRECIATION GIFTS: Award every Hostess or guest with a
small gift such as one small Coochy from the Variety Pack or an item from
the Mini Nights of Passion. Wrap these in wrapping paper and let them
select one item from the basket. You could also reserve this ‘free gift’ for
anyone who places an order over a specified amount.
MENTION THE BOOKING AND RECRUITING OPPORTUNITIES: Let
people know how much free product they can get by having a party; but
better yet, how much money they can earn by becoming a Consultant.
ASK FOR HELP: If you are expecting a large crowd, ask fellow
Consultants, your Sponsor, potential Recruits, family members, or friends
to help you out and always award them with free products as a token of
your appreciation.
