The test the students were given was mostly a constructed response test that included a large amount of writing based on the various notes we took and summarized over each section we studied. Several students took part in the early morning study sessions for extra credit and others chose to make a study guide for extra points as well. Students who took part in these two opportunities scored very well on the test. In the upcoming week we will begin to discuss the European settlement of the Americas. If you ever need to contact me I can be reached by phone at the middle school from 8:00-9:20 daily or you can email me at stickelj@huskers.k12.mo.us. Counselor’s Corner: We will be starting up our small groups this month. Topics that will be addressed in small groups this semester are school success, girls’ friendship, and anger and conflict management.
