A risk assessment addressing the relevant environmental & safety risks (HSEP0301 – Hazard Identification and Risk Management )associated with the activities must be conducted per plan/work instruction, in particular for; • Low risk and low complexity activities assessed utilise HSEP0303 – JHA & SWMS procedure & HSEF0303.1 JHA template to document risks and mitigations. • High risk and higher complexity activities utilise must use HSEF0301.1 Environmental Impact Assessment and Management Plan to document risks and mitigations. Permitting and approvals requirements of HSER0201.1 - Environmental Legislation Compliance Register.doc and HSER0201.4 Register of Permit & Notification Guidelines must be met. For work/operations within the Tasmanian World Heritage Area (TWWHA) refer to HSEP0911 – Operations in the Tasmanian World Heritage Area. New works involving land management to follow Works Management guidelines. HSEF0203.1 - Application form for the use and development of land.doc Determine compliance with Hydro Tasmania’s guidelines, agreements, or legal obligations; and determine the likelihood of environmental harm as a result of the activity. Where there is an unacceptable risk of such harm, the activity should not be approved. Proposed new activities (or renewal of rights to continue existing activities) by other users on Hydro Tasmania land constitute an event for which an environmental assessment is required in accordance with HSEP0203 – HSE Third Party Development on HT Land.
