Briefly, why would you like to serve on Clubs Council? I would like to serve as the Club Council Representative for Region 5 because I love the University of Michigan and I have found my experiences with the Alumni Club of Philadelphia to be extremely rewarding – both personally and professionally. I believe that the University of Michigan Alumni Club is an invaluable network for U of M alums. I have worked very hard over the last year (+) to revitalize the Philadelphia Chapter and I would love to help other chapters do the same. I believe that my enthusiasm and passion for U of M and the Alumni Club make me the perfect candidate for this position. 8. I am the President of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Philadelphia. In my one year as President, I have organized several events (for example, I have organized several networking happy hours, a book talk with John Bacon, an evening with the Philadelphia Chamber Society, and football game watching parties for each Michigan football game). In my short time as President I have greatly increased participation in and excitement about Alumni Club events. As Region 5’s Club Council Representative, I look forward to helping other Alumni Clubs invigorate their local alumni bases and representing their interests on the Club Council.
