General Information
Purpose and Intended Audience: To provide practicing radiologists the opportunity for selfstudy in the interpretation of a wide variety of radiology film and digital images. Also to provide
the participants with interactions with radiology physicians in an educational clinical setting.
Participants will gain greater exposure to a wide variety of radiographic images and postprocessing techniques.
Overall Learner Objectives: Upon completing the traineeship, participants should be able to
1. Assess various types of imaging modalities in order to formulate a differential diagnosis
2. Identify the most efficient methods used to protocol radiographic exams
3. Integrate imaging findings on a variety of disease states
4. Describe and understand various invasive procedures and devices
5. Utilize digital and 3-D workstations to enhance post-processing techniques

Parking
Parking is available in ramps 1, 3, or 4 adjacent to, or across the street from, University of Iowa
Hospitals and Clinics at $18 per day.
Registration Fees: The registration fee is $200.00 per day. This fee covers registration,
instruction and demonstration, educational materials, and awarding of continuing medical
education credit.
Continuing Education Credit
The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing
medical education for physicians.
The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine designates this educational activity for AMA
PRA Category 1 Credits.TM Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent
of their participation in the activity.
