Starting in January, the first Wednesday we return (1/7), we will going out to Timber Ridge Ski area, weather permitting. 5. Attention student council members, your t-shirt orders are in. Please stop by Ms. Fortin's room today to pick them up! 6. There will be a Chess Club meeting today after school in Mr. Taylor's room. Bring a treat to share with others! 7. 6TH Graders-Remember to bring in your books for the “Give One-Get One” event happening this week in Language Art. 8. The Paw Paw District Library is once again doing the Pages and Pizza for all middle school students: today-Wednesday, December 17 at 2:45 the cost is FREE! 9. This Friday the student council will be showing the movie Cool Running’s as the school wide movie. They will be providing you with popcorn. The movies will be watched with your advisory classes. 10. Leo's club is thrilled to announce; Mrs. Harp-Campbell's class as the "GIFTS FOR TEENS" advisory class winner! This class donated the largest amount of gifts for our cause. They will be receiving Holiday Treats this Friday!! Thanks to ALL who participated. We were able to donate over 80 gifts to the LION’s Club!, They will be wrapping them, and giving them to teenagers who may otherwise go without. As a reminder, LEO's club will be having their Christmas party after school today. 11. Free Skating at Roller World passes are available again this year…if you would like some, you will find them in the cafeteria or we have some in the office. 12. Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls…Girls On The Run is back! Enrollment packets are in the office. Space is limited and selection is on a first come first serve basis. Payment and all completed forms are due by January 21, 2015. 13. Sports Information Girls’ Basketball tryouts will begin after Winter Break. If you plan on trying out, please make sure you have a Sports Physical form on file. Cheer 14. Parent Information The PTO is having a contest for Box Tops, Campbell labels and Spartan UPC codes from January 5th – January 30th. There will be prizes for the Advisory classes with the most labels.
