Writing Rubrics
Attached are the writing rubrics for grades K-5, and the VLT Writing Genre
Schedule K-5. Please note: The state is still working on these rubrics and we will
continue to update teachers as changes are made by the state.
MATHEMATICS

Calendars
Per the curriculum maps, assessment calendars, and the attached Progress
Monitoring Instructional Calendars please notice that Unit 1 ends at the
conclusion of week 7 in grades 4 and kindergarten. For these grades, Unit 2
starts at the beginning of week 8.
SCIENCE

05 Science SMT 1 (2014-2015)
The window for scanning is now closed! Attached is a data analysis tool that will
support conversations in Grades 3-5 regarding student performance on NGSSS
“fairgame” benchmarks.

