BIXLER – John Henry Bixler, 4 died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey
Bixler, two and one-half miles southwest of Goshen, following a nine day’s illness of
influenza pneumonia. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, and one sister; the
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bixler, of Wakarusa, and Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Conrad
of Wakarusa. Owing to the fact that five other members of the family are seriously ill of
the disease, there were no funeral services held, only short services at the grave.
