John Fredrick, 78, who lived on a farm northwest of here until about 17 years ago, passed
away suddenly of a heart attack at 9:30 Friday evening at his home on Melville Street,
Mishawaka. He had been in failing health after suffering a stroke a year ago.
The deceased was born in Ohio. His marriage to Margaret Kline took place 54 years ago.
Surviving are four sons, Calvin and Marcus of near here, Perry of Woodland and Delbert
of Mishawaka; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Nellie) Wallace of Mishawaka; seven
grandchildren; a brother, Joe Frederick of here; and a half-sister, Mrs. John Willard of
Elkhart.
