We hope you all enjoyed the summer and are ready for a successful and fulfilling year. We welcome Miss Mitchell to our teaching team who is joining us as the new Endurance Y4 class teacher. Thank you again to everyone who voted for their top six values ready for us to launch this term. The results from our vote from pupils, parents, staff and governors, above, were our most common values that we wanted to adopt as our guide in relationships and school life. It was felt that through love we can promote these values in all that we do. This half term we start with respect. Meet the teacher We welcome and encourage parents and carers to come and meet class teachers after school on Tuesday 22nd September. This is an informal opportunity for you to meet the teacher with other parents and find out more about what your child’s year. Volunteers We are always looking for volunteers to hear children read, support school visits as well as in supporting ‘The Friends of Peter Hills’. We are very grateful for everyone who has already generously given their time to help our school. The recruitment process is continual. If you are thinking about supporting us in any way please see Miss Vernon. We also, space permitting support parents and carers who need a placement in an educational setting for childcare and teaching qualifications. The Incredible Years Workshops for all parents and carers We are pleased to be starting our 13 week programme next Friday at 9.15am – 11am in the community room. Those who have already signed up have a place. If you are interested there are places still available, see Miss Vernon to put your name down.
