Agreement for School
The school will do its best to:
1 make sure that your child works hard and is encouraged to do his/her best
2 contact you as soon as possible, if we are concerned about your child’s work or behaviour
3 get back to you as soon as possible if you write or phone us
4 welcome parents/carers into the life of the school and keep you informed about general
school matters
5 let you know regularly how your child is progressing
6 set your child regular homework tasks including reading
7 offer a broad and balanced curriculum which meets the needs of your child
8 provide a range of extra-curricular activities designed to enrich the children’s school
experience
9 provide the best possible learning environment that is safe, attractive and caring

Agreement for Parents/Carers
To help my child do well at school, I will do my best to:
1 make sure that my child attends school regularly and is on time for school
2 do my best to avoid taking my child on holiday in term time
3 encourage my child to work hard and do all the homework tasks and listen to my child read
4 see that my child wears the school uniform
5 collect my child on time after school
6 contact the school as soon as possible, by phone or in writing, if my child is absent
7 attend parents/teacher evenings
8 reply to any school correspondence

Agreement for Junior Pupils
To help me do well at school, I will do my best to:
1 work hard and listen carefully to instructions
2 read my books to someone at home
3 do all my homework and catch up with any work I might miss
4 not miss school and be on time
5 wear my school uniform with pride
6 keep the school rules, behave well and be polite and helpful to other pupils and grown ups
7 if I am unhappy I will talk to a grown up
