On Thursday 8th March 10 lucky pupils in the Fairtrade eco sub-committee attended a
Fairtrade Summit at Glasgow Caledonian University. The pupils ranged from 1st to 4th
year and were accompanied by Miss Reilly, Miss Higgins and Miss Gillies. The
summit consisted of talks by a number of Primary and Secondary schools. There was
also a talk from the Vice President of wellbeing and the Chancellor of Caledonian
University. There was also several stalls and different activities to get involved in. As
a whole it was a very successful event. It has given us lots of ideas to take forward in
Bellahouston Academy.
