Methods of cluster and factor analysis investigated the spatial structure of a relief differential
light sensitivity (DLS) of the retina obtained through the static threshold perimetry (STP) in 46
patients undergoing anterior ischemic neuroopticopathy (AIN). It is shown that at AINs, in
general, there are detected previously in other cases ophthalmopathology manifestation in the
spatial distribution of DLS functional heterogeneity of the retina. However on a background of
preservation of the asymmetry of the left and the right, and top and bottom sides of the retina
disappears heterogeneity of its center and periphery. Missing the dependence of visual acuity
from the level of the DLS in the fovea and the average level of DLS. Furthermore, as the
weakening of view of functional asymmetry of the retina, which is manifested in the structure of
the relief DLS is not becoming, as in other cases, more decorated, and the fragmented into
isolated local area. Apparently, in the case of AINs there are much more typological version
DLS, often almost unique, especially in the central zone. However, the standard computer
perimetry not possible to obtain detailed information about the relief DLS central retina.
