The aim of these project is to prepare
finished fabric, characterized by:
 antistatic/conductive properties
using new method of creation of nano
particles directly on the fabric.
I STEP - gain a knowledge about the insitu technology
II STEP – preparation of the project
proposed by a group of students

Selecting a specific topic of the
project depends on you.
You will choose it after the part
on the formation of
nanoparticles directly on the
fabric.
Analysis of nanosilver particles:
• SEM analysis
• EDS analysis
• DLS analysis
Analysis of the silver finishing :
• Resistivity
• Washing fastness
SEM analysis
Scanning Electron
Microscopy (SEM)
will be use to
determine
nanoparticles shape
and distribution on
the textile surface.
EDS analysis
Energy Dispersive XRay Spectroscopy
(EDX) will be use to
characterize the
elemental
composition of the
analysed sample.
Features or phases as
small as 1 μm or less
can be analysed.
DLS measurement
DLS (Dynamic Light
Scattering) analysis
of the size and size
distribution of silver
nanoparticles will
show size and
distribution size of
particles formed on
the fiber.
Estimation of the size and size distribution of the particles
created on the fabric.
