Many Thanks. I would like to thank all parents for their super response and support for the Foundation Phase “Elf Day”. Child Safety Issue Please could I ask ALL parents not to enter school through side doors, or corridor doors, and to use the main entrance only if you need to see class teachers. Parents are gathering outside classroom doors, especially year 2 and upwards, and this is causing congestion both at the beginning and at the end of the day. Please could you remain outside of the school building in order to ensure the safety of the children. School Choir I would like to congratulate our choir for representing the school so well at the recent Llanwern Christmas Concert and the visit to Tesco. The children have been a credit to you and to the school. We are very proud ! I know that it can be tempting to take the odd day here and there when concerts and parties are taking place, however these events are just as important for our children to be part of, as much as class lessons. Our current attendance target as a school is 95%, and we are running behind presently at 93.3%. Again, we are grateful for your support. Have a lovely Christmas !
