CHANGE TO LUNCHTIME ARRANGEMENTS
Our lunchtime school meal providers Chartwells will be extending the number of days when
school sandwiches will not be available to include a Monday. This will mean from the first
week after the Easter break no sandwiches will be available on a Monday, Wednesday or a
Friday. The new menus will reflect suitable replacements for sandwiches.
CARS ON SITE
We appear to still be getting parents driving onto the school site to pick up and drop off
children, at the beginning, the middle, and the end of the day. We have asked on numerous
occasions if you could refrain from doing this, as it compromises the safety of the children in
particular, and also other pedestrians on site. Parking and turning space on the school grounds is
already an issue, and this only makes the matter worse. Please help us before there is an
accident!
PARENTS VISITING SCHOOL
Can I please ask that all parents picking up pupils after school remain outside of the school
building unless special arrangements have been made to collect pupils from reception for
specific reasons? If parents need to see class teachers for any reason they can come to the main
reception via the main door, that way we can monitor and control visitors to the school. Please
be assured this is a safety measure for all of our pupils and staff and not meant to inconvenience
pupils.
EASTER BONNETS
Many thanks to all parents who worked with their children to produce such brilliant creations.
Congratulations to the prize winners but well done to all who took part.
NATIONAL TESTS
Tuesday May 5th to Tuesday May 12th.
