IKM Kran og Løfteteknikk was founded 2001 by a group of highly specialized,
experienced technicians from Bjørge Kran og Løfteteknikk
Our core business is:
• Related to all types of Offshore Cranes/lifting appliances, loose
lifting equipment, lifeboats and mob-boats
• Appurtenant fabrication and installation of structures & piping
• Accompanying project management, engineering and work preparation
• Rental of equipment
Per 2013 about 70 employees, turnover about 150 MNOK, and preparing for
considerable growth.

lifeboats/mob-boats.
MECHANICAL WORKSHOP, own workshop rigged for crane upgrades,
mechanical/hydraulic work, together with fabrication and installation of structures &

PROJECT MANAGEMENT and ENGINEERING, crane technical expert competence,
personnel with experience from crane manufacturers and the service industry

Horizontal test bench with pull force 200 tons, on actual working length 13,5 m.
Break load tests can be done in full length up to 160 tons.

highly specialized, experienced petroleum industry engineers

including offshore survey, studies, detail engineering,
fabrication follow up and installation supervision

• Design & installation of new safety system, (weight in hook, sector control, wind, etc.).
• Overhaul of all hydraulic motors, inst. of double brake system, mod. of MOPS & AOPS.
• 48mnd PM, exchange all wires including sheaves and Collapse Sequence Analysis.
• Design, fabrication and installation of 9,8meter boom extension.
