What is Abriendo Puertas? An evidence-based comprehensive parenting, leadership, and advocacy program for parents with children ages 0-5: • Delivered in 10, 2-hour sessions • Engages parents at a very personal level and results in transformative learning. • Uses popular education and draws on the real life experiences of parents. • Enhancing parenting skills early in a child’s life The Foundations for Lifelong Well-being Begin in the Early Years Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors was developed to improve the outcomes of the nation’s Latino children.
