Our focus is on education, income, and health – the building blocks for strong families and thriving communities. We recruit people and organizations from all across the community who bring the passion, expertise, and resources needed to get things done. Educate employees • Through group presentations: – Consider existing staff meetings or special meetings – Establish a campaign goal for your campus: Overall DISD goal: $175,000 – Agenda (5-7 minutes): – Welcome Coordinator (you) – Scorecard Campaign video – Q&A/Thank you Team Leader / UW – Discuss any first-hand experiences with United Way and ask for others to share (Consider a staff member that may want to share why they invest in United Way.) – Thank individuals for their time and consideration Role of the Coordinator 2. Distribute Campaign Materials – Share Scorecards at the meeting – Promote online giving through Oracle (Best Practice of increasing participation and incentivizing staff that give online and maximize their investments) – Have paper pledge forms available – Be a leader Role of the Coordinator 3.
