Introduction- Bio-Fuels
A biofuel is a type of fuel whose energy is derived from biological carbon fixation.
Biofuels include fuels derived from biomass conversion, as well as solid biomass,
liquid fuels and various biogases.
Introduction- Bio-Diesel
Bio-diesel refers to a vegetable oil consisting of long-chain alkyl esters and glycerin.
Biodiesel is typically made by chemically reacting lipids with an alcohol producing
fatty acid esters.
Coating Industry
As an industrial application paint and coating is not only decorative process but also
process for safety enhancement.
Types of Coating Industry
• The largest suppliers provides coatings to several areas of the market. These firms
dedicated large resources to maintain strong positions in large market segments.
• A second type of firm provided specialized coatings to narrow segments of the OEM
or special purpose markets.
• A third type of firm focused only on architectural coatings.

Composition Of Paints and Coating material
Binders include synthetic or natural resins such as alkyds, acrylics, vinyl-acrylics, vinyl
acetate/ethylene (VAE), polyurethanes, polyesters, melamine resins, epoxy, or oils.
Latex paint is a water-borne dispersion of sub-micrometer polymer particles.
Adverse Effect
Epoxy paint can cause irritation and harm the tissues if it gets into your eyes.
If it gets on your skin, then you may have an allergic reaction or develop skin
inflammation. Inhaling epoxy paint can cause dizziness, headaches and even difficulty in
breathing.
During the late 1980s and early 1990s, industrial users of paint often faced strict
environmental regulation on their operations because of the large volumes of solvents
released in the surface coating process. These manufacturers turned to their paint
suppliers demanding products which not only performed acceptably in all traditional
characteristics but also incorporated significantly reduced amounts of organic solvents.

Bio-Diesel Industrial uses
Biodiesel has different solvent properties.
It is all Natural, renewable, and dissolves in water faster than sugar.
It is 11% oxygen by weight and contains no sulfur.
Biodiesel Lowers toxic emissions and Particulate Matter
Biodiesel is safe to store, and has a high flash point
In Fact, 1% biodiesel increases lubricity by up to 30%

Conclusion
Use of Bio-Diesel in Paint and coating industry not only makes it ecofriendly but also provide economical benefits, India which is a country of
colorful culture and tradition preference to natural product must be
given in place of chemical (hazardous substance).
