• What is a summary?

Summary is a brief statement that
presents the main ideas of a text. It is
shorter than the original version.

• What is a paraphrase?
RR&D NOTES:
Paraphrase is rewording a passage to make it
clearer, often sentence by sentence. It is
almost the same length as the original.
