qalll recommendations
The recommendations are based on:
• 39 good practice projects which have been subjected to
a comparative analysis, fleshing out in detail how they
contribute to key issues in European quality assurance
policy,
• the outcomes of two QALLL conferences and eleven
QALLL national expert panels carried out in the partner
countries
• a survey on sustainability of project results which was
conducted among the 39 good practice projects.

Critical reflections - 1
Many examples of good practice, a good overview,
a lot of inspiration, but
still difficult to see the lifelong learning perspective
Still far from project to everyday practice
Still limited involvement of learners
Still limited focus on learning outcome
Still far from quality paper and policy to systematic
practice
14
Final QALLL Conference, Vienna, Austria.
www.qalll.eu
Critical reflections - 2
Still limited knowledge about quality in work based
learning
Still limited involvement of external stakeholders
Still limited staff involvement in the quality process
Still challenges in relation to dissemination
Many projects results/instruments are context
dependent
Still organisational challenges in relation to quality
