It’s A Fact With so much information out there, how do you make sense of it all? Where do you even start? Try This Experiment • You have one minute to read each of the next two articles. • They cover the same material but present it using different methods. • One is written in a simple text format, while the other uses text features. Science has demonstrated that drinking water increases the human metabolism. Additionally, it decreases hunger pangs and has been linked to a decrease in colon, breast and bladder cancers. At the same time, drinking water increases energy, focus, and memory. Coke, on the other hand, is said to remove grease from clothes, stains from toilet bowls, and rust from bumpers, batteries, and bolts. In some states, members of the highway patrol reportedly carry containers of Coke in their patrol cars to remove blood from the highway. Thirsty? Grab a water.
