• David Choe was born in
Koreatown, Los Angeles,
CA on 1976.
• He is a graffiti artist that is still currently active today.
• Choe went through a lot of obstacles and struggles to have the life he has today.

Biography
• As a child he would draw characters from cartoons and movies such as G.I. Joe, Star
Wars, and Robotech
• Got his first Krylon spray paint can in his teenage years
• Instead of painting his name constantly he would paint faces, people, cartoony whales, and punchy philosophical messages.
• After high school he visited many continents
• He returned after 2 years and went to
California College of Arts and Crafts
• Went to jail twice
• First incident was in Oakland, CA for stealing art supplies
• Second incident was in Tokyo for punching a cop
• He was in jail for 3 months in Tokyo
