Overall objective:
• To contribute to a high level of protection of consumers in
Serbia.
Purpose:
• The market surveillance system in Serbia is able to
effectively and efficiently perform its tasks and
responsibilities under the new legislation for product
safety and food safety, and to protect against products
that pose serious threats to health, safety, and the
environment.

Result Area 1:
• Enhancing the technical capacity of MTT-MI and the other
beneficiaries, to include new rules and regulations aligned
with the acquis communautaire as well as support for

product safety in Serbia.

• In the harmonized area, this refers to technical legislation
