Introduction to Computer Studies (ICS2O)
Students will use an innovative 3D programming environment to create animations and interactive video games.
Students will learn/explore:
• fundamental computer programming concepts
• how to build/upgrade computers
• the future of computing technology
• the ever-growing world of video games
This is a highly creative and formative course for those students who may be interested in studying Computer Science in Grade 11 (ICS3U) and Grade 12 (ICS4U). Please see Mr. Miller if you have any questions.

What is Link Crew?
•
This course will explore and foster key aspects and qualities of leadership. IDC30 is designed to develop confidence and decision-making abilities of students to positively influence the world around them, and consequently, to empower others along the way.

The major role of Link Crew students is to encourage new students to feel connected, safe, informed and comfortable during the first year at
Canterbury.

•Add the total number of credits you have selected – you should have 8 credits in each of grades 9, 10 and 11. Grade 11 students will not be able to select Grade 12 courses at this time.
•Grade 12 must have a total of at least 6 credits -
3 each semester.
•Each grade level must select 2 alternate courses in case course scheduling conflicts.
•This does not include courses taken outside of the regular school day. For example, Outdoor Ed or extra Arts Canterbury Courses ie portfolio or company.
