• In 1850,Monsieue Lefevre,a
baker,married Mademoiselle
Utile,and together they began baking
exquisite cookies in the seaside town
of Nantes,France.The couple proudly
placed their initials,”LU,”on every
package.From this charming heritage

CBL:
• Continental Biscuits Limited (CBL) is a
Joint Venture between the Group Danone
of France who has a 49.5% share, and the
local shareholders, who hold the
remaining 50.5% equity. The Company
has grown rapidly over previous years
CBL, in addition to being the market leader
in Pakistan, is the largest biscuits exporter
from this country.
Group Danone :
• Danone is one of the largest food
companies in the world. It is the leading

and is ranked third in Europe and seventh
worldwide. The company's operations

dairy products, which includes yogurts,
cheeses, desserts, baby foods, and other
