Casa Lubi is a traditional
Portuguese style farmhouse that
has been converted into two selfcatering apartments.
Each apartment has it's own
private patio and bbq area
surrounded by a large garden with
swimming pool which is itself
surrounded by orange groves.
Imagine waking up to the sound of
hens clucking and birds singing
with endless views over the orchard
and the beautiful Asseca valley,
5km north of the picturesque
historic town of Tavira in the East
Algarve.

Accommodation
There are two bungalows for rent.
Casa Lima is a large house for a maximum of six people. It has
two bedrooms with a double bed in each and a sofa that can be
opened into a double bed. There is a large kitchen 45m2, large
living room with a wood-burning fire, dining room, bathroom with
bath and shower, shady terrace with sun bed area, garden
furniture and bbq. Television and DVD player, washing machine
and electric fans and/or heaters.
Casa Kama is a cosy, smaller house for two people although
another folding bed can be added (charge of €10 per night for
bed linen/towels for extra person). It comprises one bedroom
with a double bed, living room with open kitchen and bathroom
with shower. There is a shady terrace with outdoor furniture, sun
beds and bbq. There is a television, electric fans and/or heaters
available.

Prices and details of accommodation
Both houses are fully equipped with cooker, fridge, cooking equipment, crockery
and cutlery. Linen and towels are provided. Bed linen is changed once per week
and towels twice per wk. Basic cleaning of each house occurs once/wk on request.
Prices are in euro per night per house and INCLUDE A RENTAL CAR which meets
you at Faro airport and you return to Faro airport on your departure. The standard
rental car is a Fiat Punto 5 door, or similar recent model car. These prices include
standard insurance- all you need is a full EU license! Other model cars are
available on request. Details and route description are provided on confirmation
of booking.

Bookings are possible without a rental car with obvious adjustment of prices (circa -€20
per night) however due to the rural location of Casa Lubi a car is usually an advantage.
For each booking a once off cleaning and linen fee will be charged which is €25 for
Casa Kama and €40 for Casa Lima, this also includes gas electricity and water.
Things to do
• A holiday at Casa Lubi can involve relaxing with
a book in the peaceful garden, a walk in the
orchard, or a stroll to Pego do Inferno a
stunning waterfall 2kms further up the valley.
•
A short trip by car or taxi takes you to Tavira
town which has many historic buildings
including Moorish castle walls and a Roman
bridge spanning the Gilao river.
The small, friendly town has many restaurants
with characteristic Portuguese fish dishes or
international cuisine such as Indian or French
restaurants. There are many lively bars and in
the summer months three nightclubs open until
6am. However, Tavira has retained it's unique
charm and remained relatively untouched by
mass tourism.
•There are two beautiful
beaches a short train or boat
ride from Tavira onto Tavira
Island with spotless soft sandy beaches and
Atlantic rollers.
•For a change of culture a 30 minute car,
train or bus ride takes you to the Spanish
border and the town of Ayamonte placed on
the magnificent river Guadiana
(the guardian river)
•Heading west the rest of the Algarve is
easily accessible by motorway, bus or train.
The spectacular coastline around the town
of Lagos and Sagres and Cape St. Vincent is
within 1.5hrs drive.
Garden, pool and Bar
Each house has it’s own patio and bbq
area but there is a bar and swimming
pool (6m X 4m and 1.1m deep) in the
extended garden which is shared by the
two houses. Guests are invited to use
the fridge at the bar, the sun beds and
the bbq areas beside the pool.

-Alternative rental cars available range from a Peugeot 207, Opel
Astra Estate, Nissan Primast. (9 seats), Peugeot 407 Coupe HDI, to a
Ford Galaxy (7 seats). All these cars have air-conditioning and total
prices per night increase according to model. All rental cars are
covered with standard insurance included in price however extra
insurance can be available on request.
-If you have something to celebrate or fancy a treat a luxury
champagne breakfast service is available on request including
smoked salmon, pate, Parma ham, fresh warm rolls, croissants, fresh
orange juice, tea, coffee, etc. and a bottle of champagne on ice.
•
Faro airport is the closest to Tavira, 35mins by car, with daily flights
from Dublin or Belfast with Ryanair, Easyjet or Aer Lingus.
