Facts & Figures 2011 ARMANI / CASA Milano, 12th April 2011 1 The financial year 2010 closed with an increased turnover of 10% compared with that for 2009. Significantly, all business departments (Retail, Wholesale, Interior Design) contributed positively to that growth. The first quarter of 2011 has reinforced this positive trend with an 11% increase in turnover when compared to the same period last year. Three licensees are in place to operate the production and distribution of the following product categories designed by Armani/Casa: Kitchen, Upholstery and Curtain Fabric, and Bathroom. In 2010 the Kitchen and Fabric licensees started to distribute the Armani/Casa collection through a selective worldwide network of retail stores, while the Bathroom products have been available from the first quarter of 2011. Figures from the licensees will start impacting the overall Armani/Casa business picture this year. In 2011 we will open 8 new Armani/Casa stores, including mono-brand stores in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Singapore, Hanghzou Ghangzhou (China), Jakarta (Indonesia) and Miami (USA). The Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio launched 8 years ago to provide clients (both private and property developers) with bespoke design solutions. At the of 2010 it signed up to work on a significant new residential real estate project in Mumbai (India): the interior design and furnishing of the World One Tower, designed by architects Pei Cobb Freed & Partners for the Lodha Group, owner of the property. Armani/Casa is present in 45 countries worldwide with a total of 67 outlets, comprising 29 single brand stores and 38 shops-in-shops. These are located in the world’s leading cities: Milan, Paris, London, Munich, Madrid, Barcelona, Athens, Moscow, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing e Seoul. 45% of the business revenue originated from Europe, 31% from Asia, 8% from America and 16% from the Middle East. 2
