Mandatory requirements
The service provider must have accreditation to
maintain and repair HP printers and be able to service
other brands such as Minolta, Nashua, etc.
Please provide accreditation from HP to confirm that
you are accredited to maintain and repair HP printers.

Service providers must be able to supply maintenance and
repair printers in all nine provinces. Provide RAF with
addresses of offices that you have in all nine provinces and
for those that you do not have offices substantiate on how
you will maintain and repair printers or provide a list of
alliance service providers that will be used.

Provide RAF with 3 references where you have provided
printer maintenance and repairs services.

Functional criteria
Service Plan
The service provider must provide RAF with the service plan of
how the required services will be delivered to the RAF. The
plan should include for example the following:
A formal methodology
Resource management
Project tracking and progress reporting
Provide loaned printers
Provide quarterly maintenance
Report on printers
Incident management; and all requirements that are required
for the project.
Training
The service provider should develop a skill transfer plan on
how to transfer skills to users and ICT technician on handling
printers to avoid breakdowns and provide ICT with skills on
how to resolve faults that are not critical.

Bid responses sent by courier must reach the reception at least 36 (thirty
six) hours before the closing date to be deposited into the bid box

Enquiries and clarification of technical issues will close not later than 02
February 2012 @ 11H00.
