Complete these simple tasks
1. Confirm the information on your statement:

2. Obtain your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for
phone and online access
3. Set your retirement goal online using Manulife’s Steps
Retirement Program® (STEPS)
Your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
 To activate (or reset) your PIN, please contact a Customer
Service Representative at 1-888-727-7766.
 Representatives are available Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m.
to 8 p.m. ET.
 Once you have your PIN, use it along with your 9-digit
Customer Number to access your account information online
or through the Manulife Customer Service Centre.

Main income options for Defined Contribution
Registered Pension Plan:
Annuity

Provides a guaranteed regular income

Monthly, quarterly, annually

Income based on:
- Size of single premium (i.e. amount saved by retirement)
- Type of annuity
 Life Annuity/ Life with Guarantee
 Joint Life (you & spouse/partner)
- Current interest rates

Income from annuity is taxable
Life Income Fund (LIF)

For locked-in money

You select the investments

Required to withdraw income each year – subject to minimum and maximum
