Lower Tungawan Elementary School is the "Gulayan sa Paaralan'
.

they give peace and meaning.
The preparation for Gulayan sa
Paaralan of Lower Tungawan Elementary
School will not be possible without the
Cooperation of the parents during the
Pintakase. And here are the MOVs

Resourcefulness is one of the best
traits a man should have. It gives chance
to the things that's being left behind. A
man having a sense of producing
outcome from a recycle could boost the
presence of being environmentally aware.
Using organic recyclable materials could
give more life and a healthy plant. One
thing to be considered in order plants to
give life is by using different method in
caring them especially in controlling pests
and disease of the plants. That's why, we
need to be mindful that if a garden is being
used to the best of what it gives,
it would give to what its purpose.
Our crops to be presented is basically
a type of crop diversity. One thing to be
considered in our Gulayan sa Paaralan is the
diversification of our plants. It would give the
essence and usage of every plant such as leafy,
root crops, legumes, herbal plants to be used
in different aspect of life. It generates not only
the beautification in a garden thru flowers that
always make people better, happier, and more
helpful; they are just like sunshine, food, and
medicine for the soul, but also provide as
medicine that would save life physically using
organic way, and of course it could also be
means of food to eat on our table that makes
our children nourish and
healthy.

Lower Tungawan Elementary School was conducted
the feeding program for the school learners in Kindergarten
aims to improve and enhance their health, nutrition and
their performance and ability and prevent from any kind of diseases
and illness among the kindergarten learners. In the sense that,
this is one of the most outreached solution that we could offer
to our school learners, to nourish their nutritional education, and
health outcomes, especially those learners who are suffering
from food scarcity.
There were 24 learners in the morning session and 25
learners in the afternoon session and a total of 49 learners
the recipients of the feeding program. The learners are to
fed for one month (30 days) from the month of May to June 2023.
The budget is 20 pesos per pupil per meal, but the parents
did not contributed the said amount, because the budget they
used for the feeding from the gulayan sa paaralan. They sold the
green leafy vegetables and came up the amount of 1,030.00
And the meals were prepared by the kindergarten adviser and
the parents of the recipients.
Gulayan sa Paaralan served as a partner of the SBFP.
It serves the supplier of the vegetables such as malunggay,
pechay, alugbati, and kangkong and other green leafy plants
which are very essential meals served.
