If there is one material thing
that you can't live without, what
is it and why?
Each and every morning, when an individual wakes up, the first
thing that they will do is to turn off their alarm clock, roll out
from their bed, and fix it. But in my case, it is totally a different
story to tell. The first thing that I will do is, get my cellphone and
check all my notifications from various social media.
Since the pandemic halted the journey of our lives in early 2020,
wherein going out is prohibited especially for us under 18 years
old, it becomes the greatest factor as to why I'm considering my
cellphone as of the things I can not live without. There's no
denying that this global pandemic has put the brakes on our usual
day-to-day living. Communication, using a smartphone is
convenient to transfer and receive information from your peers,
friends, and teachers from time to time. And with our current
technology, it is possible to communicate with them using a video
call. As a student as well, a smartphone is an essential part of our
lives, especially today. I was able to attend my online classes and
answer all my activities, worksheets, and quizzes. Aside from this
academic reason, I use my phone to entertain myself, whenever I
feel bored, I just watch random videos from TikTok and youtube.
With all this being said, it is definitely my phone that I cannot live
without. I use it from time to time and I do not see myself not
using it even just for a day. But of course, I use it in moderation.
